I ordered myself flowers from Saipua today. The bouquet is filled with ranunculus, flowering quince branches, white anemones, tulips, pale roses, tiny flowering stems, and and plenty more than I can't begin to describe. I'm cheating a bit, as I promised myself not to dream of spring too early this year. But I feel that happiness can go a long way in speeding up one's recovery.
It brings to mind a quote by Allan Chalmers that I keep handy:
"The Grand essentials of happiness are: something to do, something to love, and something to hope for."
In my case, this means photographing and loving my flowers, and hoping for an early spring.

beautiful!
and get well soon!
